The purpose of my research is to raise awareness towards the extensive amount of archives and documentations hosted at the Gutenberg Museum (Mainz, DE). By using archived elements as material, I designed several objects representing each archived section of the museum where they are available, searchable but invisible. They were presented in an exhibition in Gutleut, Mainz.

“Given the staggering amnesia in the world, I think the idea of memory as a protest against forgetting is incredibly important.
That works through a mechanism where artists talk about older artistes who’ve inspired them, as well as through the mutiplicity of museums.
Memory is very radical now. In the world in which we are living — one constantly defined by newness — nobody talks about age.”
Hans Ulrich Obrist
